About

Tenute del Cerro

Who we are

Founded in 1978, Tenute del Cerro started with the first acquisitions of Montecorona in Umbertide (PG) and Fattoria del Cerro in Acquaviva di Montepulciano (SI) and subsequently expanded by acquiring the estates La Poderina in Montalcino (SI), Còlpetrone in Gualdo Cattaneo (PG), and Villetta di Monterufoli in Monteverdi Marittimo (PI).

Tenute del Cerro

History

Almost forty years of winemaking history and a symbol of excellence in Italy and around the world, through the enhancement of the territory and its production.
Tenute del Cerro

Between nature and culture

Each estate boasts a glorious past, from Montecorona, with a thousand years of history including the Abbey and the Camaldolese Hermitage, formerly owned in the 1940s by the tenor Beniamino Gigli, to Relais Villa Grazianella surrounded by 600 hectares of Fattoria del Cerro, once a holiday home of the Episcopal Curia of Montepulciano, up to Monterufoli, an old mining station immersed in a thousand hectares of unspoiled park.
