Tenuta di Montecorona

The Soul of the Estate

History

The Montecorona Estate, with its 2000 hectares of land, the beautiful Abbey at its center, and the ancient Camaldolese Hermitage overlooking the entire valley, stands as one of the most important agricultural realities in its area.

In addition to olive trees, which produce the renowned DOP extra virgin olive oil, the estate cultivates the famous Montecorona peaches, hazelnuts, and a high-quality flour from ancient grains.

It is also possible to stay at the Abbey to enjoy the unspoiled nature of the countryside.

The estate occupies a central position relative to famous Umbrian tourist destinations: Todi, Assisi, and Perugia. In the heart of the Via Francigena, it represents an ideal location as a base for exploring this beautiful territory.

Accomodation and

Hospitality

A corner of paradise that welcomes visitors like an embrace.

This is perhaps one of the statements that best describes our Estate nestled in the green heart of Umbria, where nature intertwines with history, surrounded by ancient woods, olive groves, and the majestic Abbey of Montecorona, guardian of a millenary tradition.

Staying at the Abbey, a refuge of peace and authenticity, will make your stay an unforgettable moment.

In addition to hospitality, you can taste typical dishes prepared using local ingredients at the ‘Abbazia di Montecorona’ restaurant located within the Abbey.

Accomodation

Within the Abbey of Montecorona, our farmhouse displays 8 double rooms equipped with private facilities and Wi-Fi.

Live the experience to the fullest
