For professionals and all wine lovers, Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany, is transformed into an unmissable opportunity to discover and taste the new wine proposals of the area directly from the producers of the most important cellars. Tenute del Cerro will also be present with some excellent wines, to introduce wine lovers to powerful reds, with great structure and absolutely unforgettable!

From Saturday 18 February to Monday 20​ February, the characteristic village of Montepulciano becomes international, welcoming wine enthusiasts and sector operators from all over the world who want to learn about the new vintages of Vino Nobile on the market from 2023. The event will take place in a location of great value, the exclusive and historic Fortezza di Montepulciano, a few steps from Piazza Grande, where participants will have the opportunity to taste one of the best wines in the world. Over 40 producers present, who will talk about the new vintages but also the activities, news and projects for the future of a rapidly changing wine world. 

Tenute del Cerro is proud to take part in this important event with its wines, in particular:

• Rosso di Montepulciano DOC 2022, a well-balanced and elegant wine, with a light initial tannic note that goes perfectly with first courses seasoned with meat sauces, stuffed pasta, and second courses of grilled or casserole red meats.

• Silìneo Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2020, a red in which notes of black fruits and cherry stand out on the nose, with a balanced taste with an evident but discreet tannic component.

• Nobile Riserva DOCG 2018, it is an important wine, with a great structure, with a full flavor and an evident tannic component; for this reason, the ideal accompaniment are dishes with an equally strong flavour, such as roasted red meats and aged cheeses.

• Antica Chiusina Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2018, what characterizes this wine is undoubtedly the precious color - a ruby red - and the aromas of fruit such as ripe plum and cherry that develop on hints of cinnamon, resin, tobacco and cloves. This complexity is also reflected in the taste, complex, warm and full-bodied, giving a rich wine with good persistence.

In short, an appointment to mark on the agenda to discover these wonderful labels and taste all the excellence that Tuscany can offer.
